Wood:
three 9 1/4" x 8" long boards of 7/8" thick rough sawn cedar
one 4X4 x 31 1/2" long post, pressure treated for outdoor use
one 36" x 48" piece of 3/4" thick exterior grade plywood, preferably pressure treated for outdoor use
Tools: hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping, scrolling blade, table saw or circular
Sealer: Quality, non-yellowing, UV protected, polyurethane to protect the wood. When using treated wood or weather resistant woods such as cedar or redwood the Sealer would not be needed.
Other supplies:Optional flower pots, 8" dia. clay or fill the planting area directly with soil.
