GINORMAS Sleigh Woodworking Plans

You won't believe your eyes when you see this GINORMAS Sleigh in real life! Scaled to go with our 15 feet tall GINORMAS Reindeer, this amazing project is almost 9 feet tall x 14 feet long!! Add green garland, glowing lights or large gift boxes for an incredibly unique display that is sure to draw lots of attention in your yard this Christmas!

This project is gargantuan but not difficult to make. Just trace the huge full-size pattern pieces onto 10 sheets of 3/4" thick plywood, then cut out using a hand held jigsaw. After sub-assembly and painting, all large pieces just slide together with tab & slot construction then come apart for convenient flat storage.

designed to be used as an actual sleigh.

Wood: 10 Sheets of 4' x 8' x 3/4" thick exterior grade plywood, preferably 5-ply for better stability

Hardware:
six 5/16" I.D. eyescrews (1-EYE3) (optional)
16 gauge x 20' feet long, steel guy wire (optional)
four 12" long, plastic tent stakes (4-#TDS2)

Tools:
table saw, hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting, non-chipping, scrolling blade
router (optional)
electric drill and a 3/16" dia. drill bit

Supplies:
transfer paper (#CARB2), pencil & clear tape
sandpaper-medium & fine grits
wood glue-exterior
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws

Paint:
white water based primer (#PRIMQT)
exterior latex enamel-white
