one - 1 x 6 x 18" long pine board
one - 3/4" x 2-1/2" piece of hardwood of choice
dowel - 1/4" dia. x 14-1/4" long
wooden ball - one 3/4" dia (#BAL075)

Saw: Scroll or band saw with a smooth cutting non chipping, scrolling blade

Paint: White water based primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following acrylic colors
