Wood:
1/2" exterior grade plywood or 3/4" thick pine (recommended for signs that are side-mounted to wall or post)

Saw:
Hand-held sabre saw or scroll saw

Eyescrews - One package of 9/64" I.D. (#EYE)
Wood Glue - exterior (#GLUETB3)

Other Parts:
Brass fixture chain - 24" minimum length for hanging from tree or roof (6" - 10" length if side-mounted)

1" or 1-1/4" jingle bell (for Santa)
24" length of 1/8" or 1/4" green ribbon (for Santa)

Paints:White primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following suggested colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:
