WOOD:
Select #1 grade pine. If you don't mind the look of knots in your project use a lower cost #2 grade of lumber.
One 1X8 x 12" long
2X6 x 12" long
One 12" x 24" piece of 1/2" plywood, exterior grade good one or two sides, preferably 5-ply for better stability.
SAW:
Hand held sabre saw with smooth cutting non-chipping blade
PAINT:
White water based primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:
2098-Tomato Spice
SEALER:
High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer for outdoor protection (#POLYQT)
