The Story
Time will "speed" by for kids when they play in this uniquely shaped sandbox! Features two bench seats and hood that opens to store toys. Easy to make from full-size traceable pattern plus instructions (47" wide x 84" long)
Dimensions: 47" wide x 84" long
Wood: One - 4 x 8 sheet of 3/4" thick exterior grade plywood, preferably 5-ply for better stability
Three - 2 x 10 x 96" long boards, #2 or better grade pine
Hardware: Required for assembly
Screws - thirty two #10 x 1-1/2" long, flat head
Ten #10 x 2-1/2" long, flat head
Hinge - four 1-1/2" x 1-1/2", brass
Tools: Hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping, scrolling blade, table saw or circular saw, screwdriver, drill and a 3/16" dia. drill bit
Supplies: Transfer paper, pencil & clear tape
Sand paper - medium & fine grits
Wood filler- non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws (#WF8)
Paint brush - 3/4" and 1/4" wide brushes and fine tip detail brush
Paints:White primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following suggested colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:

2083-Fire Red
