Wood:
3/4" think pine boards (standard 1")

Saw:
Hand held jigsaw or sabre saw & scroll saw

Notes:
Can be made 3-d or made flat on plywood.

Other parts:
To stand in the ground use one of the two following options:
4 or 5 foot long steel post and a carraige bolt
or a wooden 2 x 2 stake and a lag bolt

Paints:
White primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following suggested colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:
