Graduation Year Sign Wood Pattern

Graduation is a special event that should be announced with pride!! Our large yard display does just that...and it can be used multiple times because it can be customized.

Full size patterns are included for two complete alphabets to change the graduate's name and school letters and for the large numbers 0-9 to change the graduation year. An easy project to make from our full size pattern. (56" Tall)

Order 4 stakes #YS18 and clamps #YSC2 separately

Dimensions: 56" tall

Wood:
One 1X8 x 48" long board (#2 or better grade pine)
One 48" x 48" piece of plywood, 3/4" thick exterior grade, good one or two sides, preferably 5-ply for better stability
One 12" x 48" piece of plywood, 3/4" thick exterior grade, good one or two sides, preferably 5-ply for better stability
One 2" x 2" piece of 1/4" thick exterior grade plywood

Hardware: Required for assembly
Four 3/8" dia. x 18" long, fiberglass stakes (#YS18)
Eight 3/8" dia. clamps with screws (#YSC2)

Tools:
Scroll saw, Band saw or a Hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting, non-chipping, scrolling blade

Paint:
Water based primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat

acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel

Medium Blue

Sealer:
High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer (#POLYQT) for outdoor protection for decorative items.
