Hang this unique project from a tree limb using wire and an eye screw or mount on a fence or tree trunk using our Flush Mount Hangers (available below). The bottom is hinged for easy clean out when nesting season is over.

One 1X12 x 84" long pine board.
One 2X4 x 4-7/8" long pine board.
Tools:
Table saw or circular saw and band saw or scroll saw with a smooth non-chipping blade, drill and 1-1/2", 3/16" and 3/32" dia. drill bits.
Hardware:
Nails - One box, 3D 1-1/4" long, finish.
Hinge - Two 1" x 1-1/16" brass plated (1 pack #BHNG1).
Eyescrew (optional) - One 5/16" I.D. (#EYE3).
Flush Mount Hanger (optional) - One 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" (#FMH).
Screw - Ni ne #8 x 1-1/2" long, flat head.
Supplies:
Transfer paper (#CARB), pencil & clear tape.
Sand paper - medium & fine grits.
Wood Glue - exterior (#GLUETB3).
Wood filler - non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws.
Paint brushes - 2", 1" and fine detail.
Paint:
White water base primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following suggested colors of Delta Craft paint:
2015 - Purple
2030 - Burnt Sienna
2076 - Crimson
2471 - Hunter Green
2483 - Azure Blue
2505 - White
2506 - Black
2459 - Crocus Yellow
