Skeleton Dancers Woodcrafting Pattern

Their bones may be creeking, but this ghoulish couple can still cut a rug. They love to dance to the music of our matching project, Skeleton Jazz Band.

Make our dancing couple from exterior grade plywood with your hand held jigsaw, a little paint and our full-size pattern. (about 51" tall)

Wood:
one 4' x 8' x 1/2" or 3/4" thick exterior grade plywood, preferably 5-ply for better stability

Tools:
hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping, scrolling blade
screwdriver
wrench
drill and a 3/16" dia. drill bit

Hardware:
two 10-24 X 1 1/2 " or 2" long machine screws
two 3/16" I.D. washers
two 10-24 machine nuts
two 3/8" x 18" yard stakes (YS18)
one package 3/8" clamps (YSC2)

Supplies:
transfer paper (#CARB), pencil & clear tape
medium & fine grit sand paper
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
2", 3/4" & 1/4" wide paint brushes and a fine tipped detail brush

Paint:
white water base primer for a base coat (#PRIMQT)

Sealer:
high-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer for outdoor protection (#POLYGN or #POLYQT)
