bandsaw, scroll saw or jig saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping blade
electric drill and 1 1/4", 1/4", 7/32" and 5/32" dia. drill bits

sandpaper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
glue-wood working glue for outdoors
